A couple of weeks back, my blog passed it's first big milestone (or second, if you include when we hit 10,000 page views) - our one-year anniversary! When I first started this blog it was as a result of inspiration from a couple of people and events - Jo Wheatley and the Great British Bake Off, to name just two - but I had my reservations. I wasn't sure whether anyone would want to read the things I intended to write about or whether I'd stick it out and even make it past the one-month mark so passing the one-year milestone has really given me a feeling of success somewhat.
You may be asking yourself why it is that I'm writing this post now, rather than when we actually passed the one-year mark, or even why I'm writing it at all. Well, the reason I'm here today, telling you all about this, is that I just registered my custom domain (www.bakedwithkindness.com) for a further year, meaning that it is my sincere aspiration to push on for another year of more baking, more recipe development, and more blogging! I hope then to see and hear from you all in the future and I want to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of your for your ongoing support - thanks!
